Somehow, I managed to set 'searchgol' as my default home page.

I wanted Google back so I went to Options and set it as my start up page but whenever I open a new tab, I also get the searchgol page and not Google.

Is there an option where I can select what page my Tab displays?

You need to delete a possible user.js file and use the searchreset tool.

The default homepage and the New Tab page aren't the same page.

The Search Reset add-on should fix that issue.
