Firefox 25.0.1. When on site Primeware 1Channel, to watch TV shows, a 2nd browser session opens with adware and recently I had to remove malware. This does not happen when i use IE on the same website. This may happen on other sites but I haven't found them yet. This was not an issue until i upgraded Firefox. I just uninstalled, reinstalled but same problem. I've tried to install Adblock Plus but it's so frustrating, it says it is not enabled. I simply can't figure out how to add the goofy "lists" and don't fully understand what it wants me to do. Do you think Adblock plus would solve my problem or should I just go back to using IE and Opera?? Seems I've had more frustration with Firefox lately than it may be worth? :(

hello CarlaV, i'd recommend running a full scan of your system with different security tools like the free version of malwarebytes and adwcleaner.

Sorry, I should have mentioned: I ran malwarebytes, full scan, it found (and I deleted) several "PUP" entries (see attached). I then ran AdwCleaner.
