I am trying to stop videos embedded in web pages from automatically playing. I am using NFL.COM as a test site, since nearly every article has an embedded autoplay video at the top. I have Ghostery and Adblock plus installed.

After searching here and on the web generally, I have tried the following steps and have restarted Firefox and tested after each step (whether required or not):

1. Checked that plugins.click_to_play is set to true as per one archived thread on here; 2. Installed mediaconnectivity 0.9.4; 3. Installed Stoptube 0.2.1; 4. Switched media.autoplay.enabled to false.

Nothing has worked. Any suggesttions would be greatly appreciated.
