When I start firefox an orange caution sign appears below the Google search box. The warning beside caution sign states " Your'e not on the latest version of Firefox Upgrade today ( ) to get the best of the web! " The web of trust symbol (green circle) is between today and to. When I check the upgrade page, I am told that I have the latest version.

Can you attach a screenshot?

Use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot.

In case you use the startup page that was used in Firefox 3 versions (www.google.com/firefox) then this message is hard coded on the page because Firefox no longer supports this page.
In this case you can set another page as the home page like the built-in about:home page.

I think I have a virus but have not tracked it down yet. Google notified me of unusual traffic from my site, so I am in the process of removing software. May have to wipe clean and re-install. Thanks
