Thunderbird requests master password too slowly on offline startup

I usually use Thunderbird offline. When I launch it this way Thunderbird takes several minutes to request the master password. This slows down my work and is a problem. How can I force Thunderbird to launch this request immediately on startup?

TIA, - Jim

While offline you don't need to enter a master password at all. The master password is only needed when you want to send or receive mail the first time.

Thank you for your response christ1.

Despite the fact that a password is not needed for offline use for Thunderbird the program repeatedly requests the master password be entered. T'bird can't do any other user operations while the request window is up. It happens faster and faster and reaches a point where the program must be shutdown or the master password put in. What a pain.
