The error message: "windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. You may not have appropriate permission.." The above error message is received when I try to download a new version of Thunderbird as a way to update Thunderbird. The update itself failed and directed me to try a manual update by downloading the new version. I also got that same message when I tried to RUN Firefox in an attempt to donwload it. (I am currently using Win Internet explorer). Thanks.
