Hello, quite for a long time I observe the same bag that you have in your application. The problem is with downloading a PDF from a supplier. The PDF is not recognised and it is said as an unknown file and also the file does not weigh any kilobytes or different - it’s always zero. So first issue is that the PDF is not recognised as PDF and even though when I try to save download file to files app on iPhone and I add shortcut “.pdf” still it weighs 0 kB.

I am using Mac OS Ventura 13.6.9. I have been a Thunderbird user for many years. Since this last update, I have started having issues where not all emails are displaying. Seems like most recent emails open correctly, but when I get to emails that are a day or 2 old, I get the the following banner across the top of the screen when the email opens, but can't open the remainder of the email.

I have attached a screenshot to show what I am seeing.

I am using gmail and I can access the emails in gmail, but not in Thunderbird. What is the fix for this?

Our website is currently experiencing issues when accessed through the Firefox browser. Users are reporting that the website fails to load or displays a blank page when trying to open it. This problem seems to be isolated to Firefox, as the site functions correctly on other browsers such as Chrome, Edge, and Safari.

I keep getting a browser error message on a site that I use almost daily. I have cleared cookies and cache and run the troubleshooter but still get the same message. Thanks.

Suddenly i can´t add a new folder, or supfolder, nothing happens. I can´t even rename a folder. I have the latest uppdate of Thunderbird. Have restartet the laptop as well as Thunderbird several times. This was not any problem a couple of days ago. Have done that several times before

From today I have been unable to:

Create sub-folders, or delete a folder, or see properties.

If I right click nothing happens, although it allows me to re-name, move, or see settings.??

Hi, I can get the bank website page but it won't let me log in. I have tried all the usual emptying cookies etc. and refreshing Firefox and running Microsoft troubleshooter. This is with Firefox on Windows 11. But I have tried it with Firefox on my Linux computer (Ubuntu) and it doesn't work on that either. Both say the container.do file is empty. Thanks

Do you know, why Thunderbird does not display message content or displays strange characters? We only have this problem on one computer. On the other everything is OK.

Hello, whenever I try to type into a text box the "manage passwords box" appears, which is fine with me, but with this website...there is a drop down menu, which then makes the password box completely cover it, and I've been trying to find a work around, but nothing work, I want to save my passwords, the feature is great, the password box is fine with me in other websites, is there like a button to press to remove the password autofill box when I don't need it, or simply just remove the autofill suggestions, because the fact it keeps covering the drop down menu is becoming annoying.

It's been a while since this problem first occurred but I am now very sure that this is about Firefox and not about graphics driver. This happens both when the hardware acceleration is turned on and turned off.

When I open a website that has mainly images or videos, the browser goes blitz (Reddit, Twitch, etc.). Screen splits to multiple views, it starts flickering and continues until I switch to another tab or quit Firefox. For flickering to stop, I need to restart the computer. I can also send a video if you can communicate a proper way of sharing. (Drive link, youtube, etc.)

Is there any way I can ensure Firefox does not break things on my computer?

I have an Outlook email account with multiple aliases. If I send an email from the default outlook account, all is well. However, if I try and send an email from one of the aliases I get the following error.

"Sending of the message failed. Unable to authenticate to Outgoing server (SMTP) smtp.office365.com. Please check the password and verify the 'Authentication method' in 'Account Settings | Outgoing server (SMTP)'."

Setting on the alias accocunts are the same as the default.

Sending an email from the alias accounts in Win 10 mail works.

Please advise.

How to copy inbox content so I can paste it into an inbox on a new machine. It looks like the AV has deleted the entire contents of the new machine inbox. Old machine is a mac running Thunderbird 78.14.0 on El Capitan. The new machine is Mac running Sonoma 14.6.1 with Thunderbird 115.14. Thanks, Richard

Probably from the day Thunderbird automatically upgraded to 128 version, I am having problem reading some of my mails. I click on them and I get a white window, no content at all. I tried to go back to version 115, but I haven't found the link to download version 115 from the official site https://www.thunderbird.net/ . Can you please help to go roll back to previous version? Just had the most recent upgrade to Thunderbird. I now get a microsoft message when trying to download new messages, saying it cannot access an invalid certificate. Prior to this upgrade, I had to manually validate the certificate for my email provider every time I re-opened THunderbird, or tried to send outgoing emails. Although inconvenient, this system worked and I could use the email provider system. Thunderbird will not download any emails now or give me the usual error message that I can manually override to get emails to work. The mail server is: mail.besttelecom.net.au

A few times now I've had a batch of incoming e-mails where the date, sender, header information are all there but the body of the e-mail shows: FXCG9w89iTyF8D70T5uihi9D instead of the message. I don't know what this means or why it happens. Can you explain and help me find a solution?

For the past week or two, TB only downloads 3 or 4 (never more than 4) messages at a time from my Gmail. Now, instead of just starting TB and it downloading all new messages, I have to click Get Messages multiple times to retrieve everything. I have seen similar questions here and the answers have all been variations of blaming the user. So: a) I have not changed any settings. b) It used to download all available messages, whether when TB started up or when I clicked Get Messages. c) Just now on starting TB, it took 6 clicks to retrieve 20 message. They are all text, no attachments, so the total size would be in KB, not MB. d) Using Speedtest, my connection speed is over 300 MB/second so it isn't a connection speed limit on my side. And I doubt it is a speed limitation on Gmail's side.

With all of that in mind, I would appreciate any suggestions of what could be causing the problem and what the fix might be.

I know I'm not the first person to report this problem, but the webappsstore.sqlite file in my profile folder is very large, over 85 MB. I don't want to delete it because I don't want to lose my bookmark data, which are stored in this database (I even double-checked this by temporarily moving the database out of my profile folder, basically as if it were "deleted," and started Firefox, and sure enough all my bookmarks' data were gone).

I tried running `sqlite3 vacuum` on it, but that only reduced it to 79 MB. Is there another way to further cleanup old or unimportant data in this database?
