I can't seem to send emails. I have 587 as my smtp port and 110 as my server. It's comcast. They say they don't have any support info for Thunderbird. I've been using Outlook Express and it doesn't seem very stable any more. I'm unclear abaout what info Tbird wants. I'm not the comcast account princiiple, but this email is mine. corvairdude@comcast.net The principle's account is webfootracer@comcast.net. What needs to go where? Thanks. Bob in Portland

Here is what works for me on Comcast.

mail.comcast.net Port 995 SSL/TLS Normal Password

smtp.comcast.net Port 465 SSL/TLS Normal Password

Not a good idea to post your email address in a public forum unless you like spam or spammers sending mail with your address.
