How can I force certain links to use HTTPS vs HTTP?

There are certain websites I can't view if I attempt to load the HTTP version of the link. Adding an S and loading it as an HTTPS site will actually load the site correctly. Is there a way I can specify this in Firefox?

example: When clicking on imgur or youtube links, always load it as an HTTPS link.

Note that you have to have to disable the HTTPS Everywhere extension on web pages via its Options/Preferences when it is causing problems as this is quite possible (we sometimes get reports).
