In several attempts to download Firefox, each time I wind up with "In Box."
I have been trying to download Firefox on a Sony laptop (4 years old). Each time I download (last time from Mozilla.org/Firefox) I get "In Box," and not Firefox. The Firefox logo appears on the tool bar at the bottom of the screen but when the icon is clicked I get a "In Box" screen. Have searched programs file to see if it appears so I can delete it but it does not appear. I am running Windows 7 (premium home addition).

Is it really that hard to enter the correct URL? Download Firefox from http://www.mozilla.org .
No, it's not that hard. I, again, tried the http://www.mozilla.org site and, again, got the same result. Each time (4, now-not all to same site) I have tried to download the program I get the "In Box" browser bar, not Firefox. The icon on the toolbar is the Firefox icon, but when I click it the "In Box" comes up. If I don't get any other little snippy "help" comments I am seeing a computer jock today who, I am sure, will not be so curt in his help.
In case you missed the gentle reminder, the URL posted in your OP is incorrect.
I have no idea what 'I get the "In Box" browser bar' means. Can you post a screenshot? http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-do-i-create-screenshot-my-problem

Try this instead:
- Download the full Firefox installer and save the file to the desktop
