Hi, I used Thunderbird newsgroups for years and years, probably back from 2008 or 009. I changed PCs in December last year and have been unable to access my Newsgroups on this new laptop. I can't even see a newsgroup list as the first message I get is the one in the title. I can't find any information on what the correct news server is and am simply copying that one from before. I have been using Google Groups instead but that is a poor replacement as you would know

Not very computer literate when it comes to servers etc so any advice will need to be dumbed-down for sure. I would appreciate some simple ways forward so I can return to the newsgroups.

thanks Brian
