I have an extension that I would like to Fully Remove, I go and remove in the add-ons Mang and it works for awhile but then when rebooting the computer it shows up again. I would like to fully remove it so that I do not have to remove it after a reboot of the computer.

Having more than one version of a program may cause issues.
What is it you are trying to remove?
I can not remember right now, the question in how to remove an extension for good ? Where is the program put when it is downloaded for the first time? I know that by removing it from there and deleting the program I will not have it start up again. And how did you find out what is on my computer?
There are several types of add-ons.
- 1 Extensions that you install
- 2 Plugins that other programs install
- 3 Add or mal-ware
That is why we need to know what it is.
Please follow these instructions.
In a new tab or window address bar, type about:support and press Enter. Under the main banner, press the button; Copy Text To Clipboard.. Then in the reply box at the bottom of this page, do a right click in the box and select Paste. Then press the Post button.
After you have posted, look it over and see if you can identify the add-on.
Most extensions are installed for each user Profile ("locally" and have a "Remove" button), while some are installed "globally" for all users on the device. Extensions installed "globally" have their own method to remove them; either thru the [program that installed the extension, thru the operating system, or via the Registry.
We need to know exactly which extension we are dealing with to assist you further.
Is it a secret as to where the programs are put? I do the remove after a reboot, but then when I reboot later it is back.. mediavideo something.... it is a pain...... So removing it in the extensions works til the next reboot then I must do it all over again... The program is still in the system and I would like to remove it from the system... Understand now?
We do understand. But we still need to know what it is you need to remove. If you need to, send one of us a private message with the name.
