If I have Firefox running in one Windows account and switch to another account (where I don't use Firefox) and then switch back to the account where Firefox is running, and then I open a new Firefox window, Firefox loses focus (in other words, I cannot use the new window unless I first bring it back into focus on the Desktop.) ...and, no, it is not a Windows issue, as other program behave a expected. It's just Firefox that does this. Highly annoying, btw.

[Oh, and, mods, please reopen my previous thread, I wasn't done with it, thanks.]

I tried Flash 15, and blow me over with a feather, it works! Adobe ***actually*** fixed something for a change. *faints*

Threads are automatically locked after 6 months and that older thread was started Sunday January 19, 2014. This thread was archived:

We moderators can't reopen such an archived thread, but can add a link to a new thread if necessary.

How do you open that new window?

Is that by clicking the Firefox desktop shortcut or via the Firefox File menu or a toolbar button?

more options

I open the new window by right-clicking on Firefox on the Windows Task Bar, and then clicking 'Mozilla Firefox'.

Old thread recreated.

Mods: Also, please remove the "1 solution" from my profile. I did not provide a solution in my previous thread. That was deemed "the solution" by a moderator: and I *completely disagree* with that. It is *not* a solution whatsoever.

Since mods cannot unlock Archived threads the solution cannot be undone, sorry. I even tried locking the thread and unlock however the thread stayed archived locked.

more options

Please delete the archived thread then. It is of no use.

Why was my newly-created old thread ( http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1018070?esab=a&s=&r=1&as=s ) just locked!??? I didn't even have time to reply to it. WTF?

They only way to remove the solution would be to delete that specific reply by you that is marked as the solution.

I have unlocked the other thread for now.

Please delete the entire old thread, thanks.
