firefox will not load to home page. Loads to last page. Tried ALL fixes. Ready to go to chrome unless you can fix.

Firefox will not open to home page. I have read all the articles, and tried all the fixes. Safe mode, complete reinstall...everything. Firefox has way to many of these issues. Can you help?

First step in troubleshooting - what have you tried ("all the fixes" isn't enough information)

Start with the basics. For example, have you done this:

  1. Click: Menu > Options > General
  2. Set "When Firefox starts:" to "Show my home page"
  3. Set "Home Page" to whatever website you want Firefox to load when it starts.
  4. Click OK
