The site says that the login information is incorrrect when I try to sign. I checked and am using the correct password and user name. I tried to sign in the that site on another browser and it worked. I am at a loss as to what to do next.

This issue is probably caused by corrupted cookies or cookies that are blocked.

If clearing cookies didn't help then it is possible that the cookies.sqlite file that stores the cookies got corrupted.

  • Rename (or delete) cookies.sqlite (cookies.sqlite.old) and delete other present cookies files like cookies.sqlite-journal in the Firefox profile folder in case the file cookies.sqlite got corrupted.
