When I start Firefox, canceled downloads try to download again

I have a number of downloads that didn't want to download, so I cancelled them. When I restart Firefox, the little download arrow flashes, and the download queue list shows that they tried to download again and failed. I've tried clearing the download list, but they keep coming back. Tried restarting the computer, too, but didn't change the behavior.

Do you see .part files of those downloads in the Windows temp folder or in the destination folder?

Do you see the files in the Downloads folder in the Library or on the about:downloads page?

C:\temp is empty

I see them in the Library downloads page (I'm not sure what about:downloads is?) as 0 byte size files that have been cancelled.

Also, not seeing anything in the destination folder. No file or partial file is to be found.

If you see them in the Downloads folder in the History Manager (Library) then remove them from that folder.

If that doesn't work then there might be a problem with the places.sqlite database file.

You can open about: pages like the about:downloads page via the location/address bar.
