So, as we all know Google's safe search lock is utterly useless, because all a family member needs to do is delete the Google cookies. Bingo, no more safe search lock.

Is there any way at all to prevent certain cookies from being deleted?

Doesn't seem to work. Firefox 31, tried enabling parental controls and still Safe Search wasn't enforced.
