Just like the title states.

For some reason it doesn't center, and you can't use the mouse wheel to scroll through the website.

Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Looks basically the same in Firefox, IE8, and Opera 21 - that page loads set to the left of the page. As far as scrolling horizontally with a mouse wheel, I haven't had a version of Firefox [since day one of my use of Firefox in 2002 with Phoenix 0.3] that would do horizontal scroll with a mouse wheel, even when I was using a dual-wheel mouse. I have read in Firefox support fora that other users were able to do horizontal scrolling, but I have seen that first hand.

That along with the vertical height of the page being too high, with no vertical scroll bar to read the bottom few lines on my monitor - 1280 x 768 - yep somewhat low resolution in this day and age for a desktop PC, but what about users with small screens, like a netbook with only 600 px vertical height?

That page is so wide that it would take the width of 10 monitors to display that page. What's the point in creating a page like that?

It looks the same yes.

But to be more specific, the blue strand in the middle is supposed to center like it does in every other browser. I'm not too worried if the scrolling doesnt work.

This website wasn't meant for small screens, it's targeted for higher resolution monitors.

Can you attach a screenshot?

  • Use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot
  • Make sure that you do not exceed the maximum size of 1 MB

A good place to ask advice about web development is at the mozillaZine "Web Development/Standards Evangelism" forum.

The helpers at that forum are more knowledgeable about web development issues. You need to register at the mozillaZine forum site in order to post at that forum.

Thanks, i'll give them a try.

Would printscreen be alright?

Here is how it should look centered: http://prntscr.com/4wkzsb

uncentered in firefox: http://prntscr.com/4wkzg5

Those giant hex's and the giant blue strand should all be centered like in the first screenshot(will also auto center when you move the browser.) It's shown static on the bottom in firefox.
