I have tried everything to get Firefox to download a flash player. Uninstalled Firefox and install. That did not work. I removed everything I could find associated with a flash player. Reinstalled the flash player with the same results. My programs and features show the player is present but every time I go to watch something that needs the player it tells me it is not there. The cursor I am using begins to flash off and on when I am on a site such as YouTube. The flash player will also not work with IE.

You need to install the other browser version as the one that works on IE is a ActiveX version.

This will get you the current version for Windows and without any extras. http://download.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/latest/help/install_flash_player.exe

Make sure Firefox is closed for install and then you can test Flash player at http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/

That is the same link I have used 50 times without any luck. The software shows that the download was successful but Youtube and other media will not play. Each time I am asked to download a flash player or a plugin. If you have another idea please let me know.

Thanks
