Shockwave constantly crashes (which messes up videos)

I've looked over other people's similar questions and found no help in any.

I've disabled Hardware acceleration and everything is up to date.

Videos freeze and then the stupid crash message tells me to stop the Shockwave Plug-in. If I continue it will freeze the browser until the crash error pops again.

This has been happening for over a week now out of nowhere.

I had the same problem several months back but it went away somehow.

Did you post everything you tried?

If you have problems with current Shockwave Flash plugin versions then check this:

  • see if there are updates for your graphics drive drivers

  • disable protected mode in the Flash plugin (Flash 11.3+ on Windows Vista and later)
