I've been getting some stuff going with my Firefox lately. It might be happening because I recently had unwanted viruses inside my computer, but I successfully removed them, anyways back to the point - I've been getting this same add-on or extension which I've removed and disabled several times but it keeps re-enabling or even re-downloading it. I am running on Windows 7 64-bit

It mostly happens when I exit Firefox for some time. Is there a way to make it not enable / download itself? It gets me off guard because I'm not sure if it can download more viruses or just slow down my Firefox / computer. I have the extension currently disabled and removed.

Any replies will be appreciated. 8)

Do a malware check with several malware scanning programs on the Windows computer. Please scan with all programs because each program detects different malware. All these programs have free versions.

Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

You can also do a check for a rootkit infection with TDSSKiller.
