I am trying to download the Firefox browser, but when i go to click on 'run' at the bottom on my Internet Explorer browser, it says 'firefox setup cannot run'
I am using windows 7. My internet explorer browser crashes about 2-3 seconds after the message that firefox cannot be downloaded, pops up.

Download the complete setup package from here. https://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all.html
Don't use "Run" - save it and then run the Firefox installer after closing IE.
I clicked save, and it downloaded to about 89-90%, then said it could not be downloaded. And my browser crashed again.
I just tried the same thing again, and noticed that it got to 100%, then it said "running security scan", and then it said "cannot download" then crashed.
Temporarily disable your anti-virus application long enough to complete the download process.
Can you instruct me on how to do that? I cant seem to find it.
I checked, and windows 7 does not come with an antivirus application. And i have not installed one. I don't know what else to try.
Boot the computer in Windows Safe Mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) to see if that helps.
I just rebooted in safe mood, and is currently not allowing me to connect to the WiFi
You have to select Safe With Network.
You can also download on another computer to a thumb drive.
I did Safe with Connection, and tried opening IE and it says "the proxy server isnt responding"
Using another computer, Download Firefox Full Installer For All languages And Systems {web link} onto a thumb drive. After, plug the thumb into your system.
