That looks like a problem with IME (Input Method)

  • bp-1b768160-355b-491a-8c66-679d72150120

Are you using a specific (non) standard IME?

You can try to disable OMTC and leave hardware acceleration in Firefox enabled.

  • about:config page: layers.offmainthreadcomposition.enabled = false

You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. You can accept the warning and click "I'll be careful" to continue.

Thanks for the assistance. Unfortunately, then FF didn't work at all after that point. Anything else??

It happens while using a web based database at my University. Nobody else has issues with FF, just me. I only use FF for this purpose.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} While you are in safe mode;

Type about:preferences#advanced<Enter> in the address bar.

Under Advanced, Select General. Look for and turn off Use Hardware Acceleration.

Poke around safe web sites. Are there any problems?
