I keep getting messages that shockwave has quit working. It asks if I want to continue and not. I never know what to do. And, lately I've getting messages that my version of shockwave is old and out of date. Thank you.

You're More System Details is showing 4 Flash Plugins for Firefox to use. Shockwave Flash 11.5 r502 Shockwave Flash 11.3 r300 Shockwave Flash 11.2 r202 Shockwave Flash 16.0 r0

First, grab the Adobe uninstaller from here to get rid of them all: http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-windows.html

Then download the latest Flash Plugin version [when using Firefox] from here: https://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/distribution3.html Scroll down that page about 3/4 of the way towards the bottom to the Extended Support Release - Flash Player 13.0.0.269 which probably the best for WinXP.

Run the Flash uninstaller program, then reboot your PC. Then install the Plugin version of Flash. So you'll have a clean installation of Flash for Firefox.
