Please try these basic troubleshooting steps and report back:
- Does this happen when you start Firefox in Safe Mode Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode
- Have you disabled extensions to make sure it was not related to this: Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems
- Does this happen in the most recent version of Firefox, version 36?
