I am not aware of a direct way, but here is what I did for going the other direction - from Win Mail to phone.

  • If you don't already have a Gmail account, create one (it's just a temporary tool for this process).
  • Set up the iphone for the gmail account and synchronize it. This should sync your contacts.
  • from you google.com interface: export your contacts (unfortunately it only supports CSV format).
  • In Thunderbird, import your contacts
