Hi I just came across the "tab groups" button, and discovered that an entire window can be hidden in the background while a new window is brought forth, which is awesome! I already group my tabs by window, so tabs that have to do with fun stuff into one window, tabs that have to do with serious stuff another window, tabs that have to do with a project, a third window, and so on. Which means that at the moment I have 5 windows open with probably 5-20 tabs in each (thank god for loads of ram xD ), so this seemed like just the thing for me. I've run into a snag however, I'd want to have a few windows open and then just pop the rest to the background and then later in the day perhaps pop some of them into the background and some of the others up front etc, but be it a bug or a feature I simply can't find a way to share the "background" across windows, which means I'd have to move all the tabs into a single window, which just won't work for me. Is it possible to somehow switch it into shared background mode?

I've googled but haven't found a single relevant result, except someone suggesting using a single window and then manually moving the tabs out to other windows and then back in again, which is just too much of a hassle to even bother.. xD

I wonder if this would solve the merging of windows: *https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fire.../?src=search

Well, no. Cause I wasn't really looking for a way to merge all my windows into one large window.. rather I wanted to be able to use the tab groups across multiple windows xD (so all windows share a single tag group window behind the scenes) But I take it that's not how it's written. =/
