Firefox hangs every couple of seconds. Tried everything that I have seen helped others but it does not work for me.

Whether it is browsing, trying to access a new tab, clicking a link, scrolling the Firefox hangs every few seconds. I have the most current version (36.0), all plugins are up to date, etc. I can't figure it why it keeps hanging.

Thank you for your response guigs2. I have tried a fresh install and my problems still persist. I have read the link and tried all the suggested fixes but nothing seems to help.

You can check for problems with the places.sqlite database file in the Firefox profile folder.

You can check for problems with the sessionstore.js file in the Firefox profile folder that store session data.

Deleting sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and Tab Groups and open and closed (undo) tabs to get lost and you will have to recreate them (make a note or bookmark them if possible).

There were also some updates that went out for version 36.0.1 and 2 I believe. Please also post back after the steps corel recommends above.
