I was asked to use a nightly build in order to obtain some crash dump date. I have no idea what I am doing. I installed the latest nightly build (41.0.1 I think) the win32 installer edition. Every time I open it, a command prompt opens with a ton of errors. Then eventually Nightly opens but the command prompt remains open. Is this expected behavior?

I did downloaded WinDbg from MSFT's website in the SDK. IT is on a Windows 7 SP1 x32 VM.

The purpose was to reproduce crashes to there would be reports and files to work with, as they were unable to be reproduced on a release build.

I believe the prompt with errors is the contents of the report they are asking for, if its a start up crash, else I would go about the business with the steps to reproduce the crash first then copy the report.

Detailed instructions for this is: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/d.../How_to_get_a_stacktrace_with_WinDbg
