Unable to download and install firefox
I am trying to resolve the issue of a very slow, to almost non-existant download of the firefox browser. Internet is fine and PC is fine. I know this as I have downloaded other programs with absolutely no issue. But when I try to download and install firefox it either runs extremely slow during the install which prompts me to kill it after 10 minutes and no promising results. Either that or it does not download at all. Any ideas?

Are you downloading from Mozilla.org?
Using another computer, Download Firefox Full Installer For All languages And Systems {web link} onto a thumb drive. After, plug the thumb into your system.
I DID go to Mozilla.org. I tried it on 7 dif PCs at 7 dif locations with 7 dif ISPs. I had to go to filehippo to get it. After the initial download of install files (which took 30 minutes) the installer somewhat froze. It stayed like that for nearly 20 mins. Sorry but I had to give up on it is why I went to filehippo. There is something wrong with the mozilla page and its downloader, sorry to say.
In any event, firefox is installed on both of my clients PCs
You were likely downloading the small stub installer from mozilla.org which then needs to connect to go about downloading and installing Firefox.
The unofficial filehippo source likely had the full setup for Windows which is at the link posted above. Www.mozilla.org/firefox/all as it is the Systems & Languages link below download on mozilla.org.
