Once your system is cleaned out:

Bookmark and use this; Mozilla Search Reset {web link} This add-on is very simple: on installation, it backs up and then resets your search preferences and home page to their default values, and then uninstalls itself. This affects the search bar, URL bar searches, and the home page.

The key to successful removal is to first delete MiuiTab folder from the Program Files directory. There is a good guide explaining these manual steps, which are absolutely free - https://www.system-tips.net/remove-mysearch123-virus/ The steps are as follows: 1. Find MiuiTab in Program Files. 2. Open MiuiTab and click on Uninstall. 3. Uninstall it. 4. Fix the shortcuts of your browser by removing the junk in the destination path. 5. Changing the home pages of your browsers back to their default settings.

P.S. I forgot to tell you - Do Not download any program. Simply follow the manual steps I mentioned above.

Please take care when reading instructions on other websites.

Instructions from system-tips.net mainly seem reasonable and useful however they often include a step involving their paid for software.

There are nearly always alternative methods of completing such steps either with free software or simple manual steps.

Sites offering free advice as listed in

And (for Windows OS) tools listed from the above article.

Ensure the tools are up to date, and use them all, as no single appliction catches everything, and once malware or adware has been present for any length of time there are often multiple issues.

Please take care if using sites offering advice, many are offering paid for software or paid for services. When free software and free advice are available eslewhere. malwaresolution.net does not seem to offer good manual instructions.

The first step of their instructions is to download a software installer. Apparently paid for software

Flexible and affordable prices - from $29 for 6 months to $89.95 for lifetime license; {gridinsoft.'com)

OR may be it is not even the pictured software
