Greetings, My Add-ons Manager is showing that Shockwave Flash is blocked because of and older version 15.0.0.239. Have clicked Update Now and been directed to a page which says: Flash Player Plugin 14.0 to 15.0.0.242 (click-to-play) has been blocked for your protection (attached). Have installed the latest updates manually: install_flash_player_18_plugin.exe flashplayer18_ha_install.exe Shockwave_Installer_Slim.exe None of these have solved the issue. Any advice would be really appreciated! Thanks

Your system details shows two different Flash plugins. Shockwave Flash 15.0 r0 & Shockwave Flash 18.0 r0 IMO, the best way to proceed is to get rid of both Flash plugins altogether and install Flash cleanly.

First, grab the Adobe uninstaller from here: http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-windows.html

Then download the latest Flash Plugin version from here: Select Plugin-based browsers - the EXE version. https://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/distribution3.html

Run the Flash uninstaller program, then reboot your PC. Then install the Plugin version of Flash. So you'll have a clean installation of Flash for Firefox.

Thanks, now showing Flash 18.0.0.194 installed successfully. On a related issue (I think) I cannot view any movie clips posted on Facebook using Firefox (I can view them using Chrome or IE). I get the following error when clicking on the play arrow: Video Unavailable We are having trouble playing this video. (see attached) When clicking on 'Learn More', I am redirected to https://www.facebook.com/help/www/396404120401278 which informs me that my Flash version is the latest one... Any suggestions on what to do next? Thanks again!
