When I minimize Firefox it seems to have closed, although you can still hear audio from that window. The window appears in Task Manager.
I have my window open. I press Minimize on Firefox and it minimizes, but when I go to open again it seems to have closed entirely. Youtube is playing. When I minimize the tab and it 'closes down', I can still hear the audio. Strangely enough it appears in Task Manager as if nothing ever happened to it and it's perfectly fine. Think it's a problem with Windows 10, my PC or the browser?

Do you have the Firefox icon on your quick launch? Close Firefox. Right click on the icon and select Open New Tab. Sometimes this works. If it opens, close it by Menu > File > Exit.
This is not a cure but will make it easier if Firefox locks up in Windows. https://support.mozilla.org/questions/997866 {web link}

Having more than one version of a program may cause issues.
You must remove the older programs. Then get the current full installer.
