My computer was working fine then all of a sudden the internet stopped working. We use Firefox as the browser.

We were watching something on Netflix, then the video stopped and went to buffering. It never started again. From this point on, the internet in general became slower and videos (youtube / nexflix) wouldn't even start to download.

I spent some time doing some research on the internet and tried to fix the issue myself but it has appeared to make it worse, so now even a text page wont load properly.

The steps I carried out were as follows: Cleared the c:temp folder. Cleared internet history or 'caches'. And experimented with plugins, enabling or dis-enabling to see if this helped the issue.

It is definitely not the internet connection. Other devices are working on it and no issues are being reported on the computer in question.
