As far as uploading screenshots, try again when you go to post a reply. It is best to use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot and make sure that you do not exceed a maximum file size of 1 MB.
Then use the Browse .... button below the Post a Reply text box to upload the screenshot.
Any problems getting add0ons from here?
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/
The screen shots were very small. Just a circular pattern on a blank screen says loading when clicking on add ons? Did this for over an hour and then I cancelled. On my laptop now running windows 10. No problems. The machine I am using is a refurbished Dell running Windows 7 Professional. All the updates for windows have been done.
I'm not sure why that page isn't working for you, but if the problem is only on the "Get Add-ons" panel, you can go to the site directly:
https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/
The main different is, when you're using the website outside of the Add-ons page, it doesn't know which extensions you already have.
How many extensions do you have?
When you go to this tab then Firefox sends a list of currently installed extensions to avoid having them show up in the suggested extensions.
It is possible that there is a problem with the file(s) that store the extensions registry.
Delete the extensions.* files (e.g. extensions.json, extensions.sqlite, extensions.ini) and compatibility.ini in the Firefox profile folder to reset the extensions registry.
New files will be created when required.
See "Corrupt extension files":

If you see disabled or not compatible extensions in "Firefox menu button/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions" then click the Tools button at the left end of the Search bar to check if there is a compatibility update available.
If this hasn't helped then also delete the addons.json file.
