Recently on one of my back-up Win XP Pro Computers Thunderbird Ver. 31.4.0 will not start. All I get is the the Microsoft "Crtitical Stop" alarm. I tried to update the program with no results and even tried to uninstall the program to install a fresh version but the uninstall would not work! What should I do?

Just download the full installer from https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/ and run it.
