upgrade to 64-bit windows 7 firefox does not work properly

more options

Windows 7 64-bit using firefox 43.0.1 refused to show text and graphics on a few websites. Found a download for 64-bit waterfox, which was just firefox 39.0.3, however, it works fine with no bugs but I cannot upgrade to anything other than 43.0.1. Am I to assume that 43.0.1 does not work on 64-bit windows 7?

Do you have NVidia’s network access manager or Forceware Network Manager software installed? Disable / remove it. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/connectivity-crashing-firefox-43-update

You can go here: to get the latest release of a true 64 bit build of Firefox: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/

IF you want the beta you can get it here: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/beta/all/

Hope that helps

Hi Carm

loaded it and has the same problems as 43.0.1. I have reloaded 39.0.3 and its ok again, albeit using huge amounts of ram - about 850-900Mb
