I am trying to use my Kurzweil to read online content, but the extention or add on for it (appears as a little puzzle icon) wont ok. I was able to before but it wont work now.

See this Kurzweil Education Customer Support article. You need to remove the existing add-on and then install a new "signed" version of that addon, which is available at the bottom of this page. http://support.cambiumtech.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=1597

This will disable add-on signature enforcement; Enter about:config into your Firefox address bar Click the I'll be careful button Find xpinstall.signatures.required in the list Right click the preference Select Toggle until the value is false https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/add-on-signing-in-firefox

Wont this put my firefox at risk? i don't want to permanently disable something important. i am not very tech savy.
