help after upgrading to 44 on mac, the maff extension stopped working

Maff extension was working fine on 43, saved a few pages this morning. Did an update to 44, and puff, now there is a blank space in the file TAB where we used to have "save archive" disappeared. What should I do? Am I missing something?

Per User Reviews of that add-on - https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/mozilla-archive-format/reviews/ - it is broken in Firefox 44 and needs to be fixed.
