We had TB Emai access, but a screen from Gandi? for a new email address, prevented entry. We reconfigured but all our previous info/archives is gone. Advise.

We had thunderbird email and it was working fine, but yesterday when we clicked the icon to enter thunderbird, a "Would you like a new email address?" screen appeared. This screen indicated "Ghandi.net" as the origin, and we searched the internet to determine that it appeared to be a related company. After contacting our service provider and confirming the configuration, we hit the "skipped this and used an existing email" to set up access. However, we did not get into our old Thunderbird Email account, but only the current messages were downloaded and all our historical/archival information is no longer there. What do we do to get things back to the way they were????.
