I want to use Thunderbird for my email and not Verizon. About a month ago, Thunderbird just popped up on our computer with my email account and I enjoyed using it, but after a computer restart I can't seem to log on and when I put in my email to have the password sent to my verizon account (which is not a user friendly format) nothing comes through?? I have no idea how it appeared originally and how to get it back.

The password you are being asked for is for your Verizon account.

If you have anti virus software, turn off the mail scanning component and see if that helps.
