I am getting 100s of errors: ruleset ignored due to bad selector

Does the local site work normally in other browsers?

In case Firefox is more strict, could you verify using a validator such as: https://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/

Sometimes Firefox can't process external style sheet files due to a difference in page encoding. For example, if the main page was saved using UTF-8 character set, but the external page was saved using UTF-16LE character set. If you are mixing and matching files from different sources, you may need to re-save all the pages with the same encoding.
