say i open up a website , for some reason the lowest part of the page stretches vertically downward , i don`t know how else to describe it , i can see most of the upper part of the page but then from a point (which can vary, sometimes it`s lower than half-way down sometimes higher) say there`s a picture or script , it will take the last line it gets to or the last picture and then stretch it downwards to the end of the browser . i`ve never seen it before , i don`t know why it is doing it and of course i`m worried that my whole computer is going to crash , but i suspect it is actually some sort of fault in your software , (which is usually so good) , do you have any idea what i`m talking about and can it be fixed ? thanks .

then please try if the following can solve the problem: enter about:config into the firefox address bar (confirm the info message in case it shows up) & search for the preference named layers.allow-d3d9-fallback. double-click it and change its value to false and then restart the browser once...
