Your data should still be on at least one of your devices, if not all of them. Updating Firefox doesn't change user data on the device.

Sync isn't intended to be a "storage cloud" for Firefox data. Its purpose is to synchronize Firefox data that is on your connected devices.

Simply create a new Firefox Account using an accessible email address and your data will get synchronized from a connected device. Then as each additional device is connected any minor differences in data will get sent to the Sync server and differences on the server sent to each device.
