Hello there, I 've been using firefox for years with no problems and recently updated to the latest version (49.0.1). Since then Html5 content (e.x. Youtube) plays with bug (blank-black video, sound ok). I also had the vertical line artifacts bug in many pages. My system is a pentium 4 630 3Ghz, 1.5Gb Ram and an Nvidia GeForce FX5500 gpu with 256Mb Vram (vista driver), all drivers up to date, OS Windows 7. Before anyone here start saying that I have to upgrade my relic, I will inform you that until version 47.0.1 I had no problem (5 days ago updated from 41.0.2 to 43, 43 to 45 then 47.0.1[used it for a while still no video bug], then 48 and finally 49.0.1). Searched the web for solutions and I managed to fix artifacts by disabling Multi-Process and get video working by changing layers.allow_d3d9-fallback to false. BUT Hardware H264 Decoding is still No; Hardware video decoding disabled or blacklisted , plus D3D11 device creation failed: 0x887a0004 same for D3D9 and D3D11_COMPOSITING. I provide the following report from about:support (after setting layers.allow_d3d9-fallback to false and multi-process disabled [it was enabled by default]). Please report if this will be fixed on a later firefox version or is it a problem with my hardware wich as I guess is not blacklisted and I am pretty sure that Hardware Acceleration and those D3Ds had no error at least until version 41.0.2!
