I cannot see how to address an email to more than 3 people

Despite what several previous posts say, it is not possible to add a fourth address by hitting "return" or "enter" after the third; that just destroys the last entry. This problem is seen with Thunderbird 45.5.0, on a Macbook Air, mac osx (10.12).

Well, usually the addresses you have entered just scroll up to make room for a new address.

There ought to be a scrollbar to make it obvious this has happened but this doesn't always appear. You could grab and drag the horizontal divider between the addressing box and the message text box, moving it downwards to make more space to view the addresses.

Zenos: that was embarrassing...! but thanks all the same :) I'll blame it on Apple's new no-contrast color scheme that I did not even notice the scroll bar. I must need a vacation...
