Can't send. Get error "The mail server responded: 5.7.1 SMTP Relay Scanner failed."
Laptop. Ethernet. CenturyLink server. embarqmail.com. Won't send outgoing. Error code "The mail server responded: 5.7.1 SMTP Relay Scanner failed." Tried three or four separate times. Same problem.

re :smtp.embarqmail.com:587 None Normal password
Right click on mail account in Folder Pane and select 'Settings' Bottom of left pane select 'Outgoing server (SMTP)' select the smtp server in list. click on 'Edit' button Connection Security: select 'STARTTLS' click on all 'OK's
Close and then Start Thunderbird. Try to send and report back on results.
