How does that help me , you posted a bunch of stuff that does not help me solve the problem and in fact gives me less confidence in Firefox. Why is Firefox so unreliable but Chrome so stable ? \
How do I prevent Firefox crashing my whole system
Sorry. I suspect a memory issue and called for more help.
I am so disappinted that in all this time , no response at all to help fix this issue, is there a way to contact Firefox/ Mozilla people ? Should I just got to Chrome and stick with that and give up on Firefox ?
It sometimes happens when I open a new tab in Firefox and I have 3 or 4 tabs open and then the whole machine locks up and has to be rebooted at the power switch. Surely Mozilla would want this not to happen ?
Here's an article on how to fix Firefox's freezing or hanging issues, let me know if it helps you.
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-hangs-or-not-responding
Thats way to vague and general and unfortunately does not help
I posted the Crash report IDs in this thread and thought that maybe someone from Mozilla could identify what is going on.
It does not just freeze Firefox it freeezes my whole computer so it needs a hard reboot at the power switch thats seems risky for my computers health
Sorry about that. Does Firefox still crash your whole system while in safe mode? Do you have any extensions installed?
