Ebay and Gmail are still navigable but I am unable to send messages in gmail and I cannot edit my cart in ebay. Have tried updating, running with plugins off, and clearing the cache/cookies. They work fine in other browsers such as microsoft edge but not this one. Gmail is showing "error code #007"

Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache.

  • Clear the Cache and
  • Remove Cookies

Warning ! ! This will log you out of sites you're logged in to. You may also lose any settings for that website.

Type about:preferences<enter> in the address bar.

  • Cookies; Select Privacy. Under History, select

Firefox will Use Custom Settings. Press the button on the right side called Show Cookies. Use the search bar to look for the site. Note; There may be more than one entry. Remove All of them.

  • Cache; Select Advanced > Network. Across from

Cached Web Content, Press Clear Now.

If there is still a problem, Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). While you are in safe mode;

Type about:preferences#advanced<enter> in the address bar.

Under Advanced, Select General. Look for and turn off Use Hardware Acceleration.

Then restart. Poke around safe websites. Are there any problems?

I have removed cookies, cleared the cache, switched off all extensions (Adblock, Shockwave, and Avast), I have switched off hardware acceleration. Updated my computer and firefox. None of these have had any effect on the issue. Its like ever since they dropped flash nothing works anymore. I am at a complete loss. No one else online seems to be suffering from this problem and I dont know what else I could try. I think I may just have to leave Firefox behind.

Also YouTube is no longer functioning correctly. Sometimes it plays audio but no video, sometimes it refuses to load anything on the page but the video window, and sometimes it refuses to load altogether. ANY possible solutions would be much appreciated.
