Thank you for sharing your extensions list. (Next to your question, Question Details > More System Details.) You have a Yahoo! extension that changes your new tab page to a Yahoo! page. If you only want Yahoo! on your home page, I suggest:

(1) Remove that extension (2) Use Firefox's built-in home page setting to make your preferred Yahoo page your home page

Here's how:

For #1:

You can view, disable, and often remove unwanted or unknown extensions on the Add-ons page. Either:

  • Ctrl+Shift+a (Mac: Command+Shift+a)
  • "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
  • type or paste about:addons in the address bar and press Enter/Return

In the left column of the Add-ons page, click Extensions. Then cast a critical eye over the list on the right side. Any extensions that Firefox installs on its own are hidden from this page, so everything listed here is your choice (and your responsibility) to manage. If in doubt, disable... and you can remove the "Yahoo Homepage" extension.

For #2:

The easiest way to set a new home page is to load the page you want, then use the drag-and-drop method described in this article: How to set the home page.

Does that fix it?
